The mission of the Health Advancement Collaborative is to bring together employers, hospitals, physicians, insurers, and consumers to address ways to advance high quality health care, access and safety in Central New York while decreasing or maintaining costs.

Our current priorities are to:

• Develop a community-wide electronic clinical information exchange focused initially on improving quality and efficiency around medication management and radiology and laboratory services.

• Identify options for optimizing the capacity of our health system through medical technology review and promotion of best practice standards.

• Address issues related to primary and specialty physician manpower supply.

The Collaborative is committed to fostering positive change in health care for the Central New York community.
