Robert J. Hack, RHIO Director

Mr. Hack joined Health Advancement Collaborative of Central New York as Director, Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) in March, 2010. The RHIO Director is responsible for implementing the policies of the board and the overall administration, general management, business affairs, and growth of the RHIO.

Prior to joining the Collaborative, Mr. Hack was Director of Information Technology & CIO for St. Lawrence County in Northern New York.  In this role, Mr. Hack led the County’s IT Department and was a contributing member of the County’s  IT Advisory Committee providing resources and insight on issues involving telecommunications and information technologies.  He was also appointed a member of NY State’s CIO Council.   

From 2003 to 2009, Mr. Hack served as a company officer and Chief Information Officer for both Oneida Ltd in Oneida, NY and Marietta Corporation in Cortland, NY.  Prior to these roles, Mr. Hack held senior management positions in Supply Chain Management and Information Technology for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY and Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, NY.

Mr. Hack brings extensive experience in leadership and the implementation of complex information systems and technologies.  He earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from SUNY Potsdam and a M.S. in Management from Purdue University.
